Hello there! I’m Nichole!
I love helping you overcome the anxiety that tries to take you out and learn how to live with purpose and intention, one small moment at a time.
I have thirty years of experience living with anxiety. (That’s a lot of experience!) I had it as a teen, a young wife, a mother of littles, and now I’m learning to move through it as a mom of teens nearing the empty nest years. I know how it feels to be labeled as the “worry wart” of the family. I know what it’s like when anxiety is pervasive – can’t get it off my back – and the weight of shame attached to it.
Like a hike with too many grueling switchbacks and not enough scenic lookouts, my journey with anxiety isn’t one that I would have scripted for myself. But I can say without hesitation that I am thankful for it! I’m thankful for every grueling step of the journey because it’s taught me to see that I am not alone in any of it. Like a trustworthy trail guide, Jesus has been there every step of the way! He is my constant support, my faithful Shepherd, my favorite friend.
Living with anxiety can feel like constantly scaling a mountain but never reaching the top.
Here’s the good news: you CAN get to the peaks of recovery… but even when you don’t, you can experience the rest, peace, and purpose that comes from abiding in God’s presence.
Practically speaking? This looks like learning to lay down each moment with the power of intention. And it IS something you can learn!
Born out of my struggle with anxiety and depression, I’ve found help and solace in focusing on small moments of intentional living in everyday life. I also have 15 years of experience in the social service field and have participated in training for cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DPT).
As someone with both personally lived-out and professionally researched mental health experience, I love coming alongside women in the thick of their struggles.
I desire for others to know that they are created for a purpose and that even anxiety can be a tool to help point us to our Savior and live a life that brings Him glory. My intentional living approach has helped countless women unlock greater peace and purpose in their lives, one moment at a time.
I currently live in the American Midwest with my husband Paul, and our three children. In my free time, I enjoy training for half marathons, discovering new hiking paths, advocating for various mission organizations, and curling up with a good mystery novel.
