Born out of my struggle with anxiety and depression, I’ve found help and solace in focusing on small moments of intentional living in everyday life. I desire for others to know that they are created for a purpose and that even the struggle of anxiety can be a tool to help point us to our Savior and live a life that brings Him glory. In hopes of encouraging others to take small moments of each day to intentionally seek after Jesus, in every area of their life, I’ve been sharing my journey of striving to live an intentional life on my blog The Intentional Life.
I currently live in the American Midwest with my husband Paul, and our three children. In my free time, I enjoy training for half marathons, discovering new hiking paths, advocating for various mission organizations, and curling up with a good mystery novel.

I am a Christ follower and also an anxiety/depression survivor. Because of this experience, I am also a mental health advocate, speaking God’s truth and hope into the lives of Christians who also struggle with mental health issues. I am passionate about God and people. I love to study the Bible, share what He is teaching me, and hear what He is teaching you.
Encouraging others to live a life of intention so that they may give God glory in their lives and point others to Him is the core of my ministry – The Intentional Life. I look forward to learning, laughing and experiencing God together!
